NSPA Beauty Rituals Skincare

If you haven't already noticed, I'm a big fan of skincare. I'm always on the hunt for new products that suit my problematic and very dull skin.
I especially love face masks. These are what you need to be using at least once a week to completely remove dirt and impurities out of your pores. Most face masks are supposed to be left on between 10-20 minutes to allow the product to fully work its magic.
I originally went into Asda just to purchase the NSPA Hot Cloth Polish as I had read some great reviews about it but ended up leaving with the Skin Glow Mud Mask and the Brightening Day Cream.

If you read my Lottery Beauty Wishlist, you'll know that the very pricey Glamglow Thirstymud Mask was included on there but paying £50 for a small tub of product is a purchase that needs to be considered so I was extremely excited to see NSPA's Skin Glow Mud Mask on the NSPA Beauty Rituals Range that is meant to be the perfect dupe of Glamglow as it contains a lot of similar ingredients.
When comparing ingredients between Glamglow & NSPA, both products contain:

  • Kaolin Clay - Draws out dirt & impurities
  • Charcoal - A detoxifying ingredient
  • Salicylic Acid - Unclogs pores

NSPA's Skin Glow Mud Mask comes packaged in a 50ml tub (Again, the same as Glamglow) with screw off lid and another protective lid underneath to prevent spillages when opening.
You are greeted with a very pleasant and natural, spa-like smell from the mud that is of medium consistency and is grey in colour from the Kaolin clay and charcoal.

Onto the directions of use.. Smooth a thin layer onto cleansed skin (I cleansed my skin using the Hot Cloth Polish) and leave on for 10 - 20 minutes. Allow the mud to fully dry and set then wash off with water.
After I had washed the mask off, my skin looked visibly clearer and felt incredibly cleansed. I was pleasantly surprised especially as this only cost £6! Skin Glow Mud Mask is suitable for all skin types even sensitive so I would definitely recommend anyone to give this a go if you want clean, silky soft skin!

Moving onto the Hot Cloth Polish, this also comes packaged in NSPA's simple baby blue and white cardboard packaging in a 150ml bottle complete with muslin cloth. Containing vitamins A, E, pro-vitamin B5 and cocoa butter which is a natural moisturiser.
To use this product, you simply massage 2 pumps of the polish, which is of thick consistency, onto dry skin in circular motions. Wet the muslin cloth under hand hot water then simply wipe your face, removing all the product.
The hot cloth feels extremely soothing and relaxing on your face making this product a perfect addition to your nightly skincare routine for only £6.40.

Last but not least, the Brightening Day Cream. The only reason I really picked this up was because it says 'brightening' and as you previously read at the beginning of this post, I have very dull skin. It doesn't have any sort of 'glow' to it, at all. This cream does not come packaged in cardboard like the other items but like the Mud Mask, you get 50ml of product. I applied this after removing the mask, to close my pores and moisturise my skin and was delighted to see my skin looked radiant after only 1 application! I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more of a difference after a week or so of using it daily.

Have you tried any NSPA products before?
