22nd Birthday Presents & Haul

I'm finally back with another post! Sorry I've been MIA again.. (I've said it once, i'll say it again.. I'm such a bad blogger!) But i'm back and ready to blog all about the lovely things I received for my birthday- I turned 22 on the 7th January and it actually does feel a little weird not being 21 anymore, as weird as that sounds! Probably because my 21st was such a big one! But I actually like the fact that my birthday is straight after christmas, though. It makes the ending of the Christmas season less depressing knowing that there's more celebrations to come :)
I had a nice chilled out day then went out for a meal with all my friends in the evening. They all made it really special and they surprised me with a princess cake complete with a crown for me to wear! How cute?

Anyway, onto the stuff you're all interested in..
My lovely man bought me the Zoeva Rose Golden Complete Eye Set Vol 2. I've heard amazing things about Zoeva brushes and have wanted some good ones for awhile now so I asked for this set. The quality is amazing and the design on the brush handles is gorgeous. The brushes come packed in a shiny rose gold coloured pouch and retail at £56.95 which may seem a bit steep but that works out around £4.70 for each brush so you definitely can't argue with that as they are more than worth it!

Craig also surprised me by buying me the Too Faced Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette (here) and Viktor & Rolf Bon Bon Perfume. (here) These were complete surprises as I told him I only wanted the Zoeva brush set! The Bon Bon perfume smells amaaaaazing with its notes being mandarin, peach and caramel. It's my favourite perfume ever!

I received a few MAC & Debenhams vouchers off Craig's family which I have spent on all MAC.. How typical of me?! I FINALLY own 'Whirl' lipstick which I have wanted for aaaages! I'm trying to be more daring with make up lately so trying to break away from pink lipsticks!
I ordered 2 eyeshadow pans for my palette- I chose 'Gleam', a pinked gold shimmer and 'Kid', a light brown matte shadow, perfect transition shade!
Another purchase I made was MAC's 'Boot Black' Liquid Liner. I couldn't decide between this or the Penultimate Eye Liner but it had a lot of bad reviews about it drying up very quickly and its black colour fading so decided to play it safe with the liquid!
Last MAC item, I decided to buy MAC Prep + Prime Skin Base Visage. I'm a big fan of primers so thought I would give MAC's a try! I was slightly disappointed at the size of it when it arrived (I always thought it was a bigger) but they say good things come in small packages, right? I'm yet to try it out but I will keep you updated on how I get on with it, maybe a review blog post in the near future!

With my birthday money I had a trip into Boots where I bought Maybelline's Age Rewind Eraser Eye Concealer (another product I've had my eye on for awhile). After seeing multiple youtube beauty gurus use it, it seems like the most popular drugstore concealer. Again, I am yet to try this out!
With Maybelline products being on a 'Buy one get 2nd half price' offer, it would have been rude not to! I browsed the Maybelline section for awhile then spotted the Creamy Matte Colour Tattoos!
I've been wanting to get my hands on one of the matte ones as these are the perfect dupe for MAC Paint Pots and cost 1/3 of the price. The shade I picked was Crème De Rose which is a subtle pinky-nude shade.
SO MUCH MAKE UP, SO LITTLE TIME TO WEAR IT ALL!
Finally breaking away from all of the make up, I bought a cute floral dress from Missguided. It's a pale pink number with daisy print. Very "me" :) I'm still waiting for it to get delivered but I'm hoping to start including some 'Fashion' posts on here, most likely when the UK weather gets a little (or a lot!) better! So watch this space!

Well, that's it for my birthday haul! No Christmas or birthday for another year! *cries*
Have you tried any of these products? What are your thoughts on them?
